For this hospital project in Pakistan, we engineered and exported an integrated system rated for 90 m3/day. The A/O biological route was selected to reduce organic and nutrient loads while keeping the equipment compact and practical to operate.

Why A/O Fit The Project Requirement
The project needed biological treatment for both organic matter and nutrients. A/O provided two defined process environments inside one integrated system.
Organic And Nutrient Control
The treatment objective covered COD, BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus rather than organic removal alone. That requirement shaped the biological process choice.
Separate Biological Duties
The anaerobic zone supports breakdown of complex organic matter and phosphorus release. The oxic zone oxidizes remaining organics and supports further nutrient reduction.
Practical Daily Operation
In operation, the system remained stable under wastewater-load variation. Simple maintenance and low energy demand also supported lower operating expense.

Treatment Duties Inside The A/O System
The 90 m3/day system combines anaerobic and oxic biological duties inside an integrated enclosure. Pretreatment, disinfection, sludge handling and monitoring are confirmed for each new hospital.
